Located in the heart of Mayfair, this 8,000 sq ft refurbishment for an established global strategic advisory firm was all about rethinking potential. After over a decade without any upgrades, the client’s office was ready for an entire transformation, one that would ensure the workspace reflected the client’s brand. The new space showcases quality and excellence combined with modern ways of working.

Stripped back to shell and core, the project began with a fresh canvas. The existing floor plan was reworked to double the size of the breakout area, creating a central hub for collaboration and everyday use. The kitchen, repositioned, now sits at the heart of the office, designed to be a purposeful focal point that brings people together.

Introducing a mix of high-end materials played a key role in the design. Warm walnut tones, bespoke joinery by Jump Joinery and brass finishes add depth and refinement, while every part, from furniture to fittings, was designed and made specifically for this client. Nothing was off the shelf.

The refurbishment also introduced a new “collaboration library” - a versatile space with meeting booths, soft seating and a large shared table that doubles up for quiet focus or team sessions. Both acoustic performance and IT were key parts of the brief. A full AV package was installed across all meeting rooms for faultless connectivity, while bespoke perforated ceiling tiles deliver both visual harmony and acoustic performance throughout.

The project wasn’t without its challenges. Strict out-of-hours working hours were required due to the building’s mixed-use setting, but careful planning and close coordination with all parties resulted in minimal disruption.

The finished result is a sophisticated, high-performing workspace for up to 90 people, designed with room to grow. Modern, personal and future-focused - exactly as the client envisioned.
